City of Fresno Town Hall Meeting

Here’s a look at the City of Fresno Town Hall Meeting held at  Hope Lutheran Church (Central Fresno) on August 30th, 2011.  Some highlights the City was presented were the fact that all city parks are still open, 95% of street lights are working (despite the copper theft), car thefts are at a near all-time low, and prostitution is down.  Then the Mayor presented what they hope to focus on: higher promotion for industrial manufacturing to move or start in Fresno, target adult education to plug into employment, to clean up homeless encampments and cleanup around freeways.  The best part of this town hall meeting was the break-out session that allowed concerned citizens to speak with department directors and representatives face-to-face.
