Fresno Summer Night Lights

With the help from Building Healthy Communities (BHC), two parks and community centers in Fresno will be full of activity every day this summer.  The best part about it, all this fun is free.   The two parks are Holmes Park (Downtown Fresno) and Romain Park (Central Fresno).  High participating activities such as the Zumba class, which was even showcased in a FresnoBee article, will continue through the summer. Some new plans for this summer are the Movies in the Park, just like the one done in Eaton Plaza, and a Sizzling Summer Concert series with salsa, steel drums, mariachi and marimba on various days.  Check out what each park has to offer, get out there, meet new people and most importantly, have fun.  Also, if you know youth who would like to get involved with the many issues of Fresno during the summer, direct them to the Youth Engagement Team (YET) where they can learn what their peers are doing and how they can join.
